Mold inspection lead generation software for your website
Inspecta turns the traffic already reaching your inspection or testing site into described, photographed inquiries. The homeowner answers guided questions, adds pictures and receives a careful preliminary assessment. You receive all of it, before you pick up the phone.
Why an ordinary contact form leaves the inspector guessing.
A contact form collects a name, a phone number and a sentence. Everything that decides whether a job is worth your morning is missing: how large the area is and how long it has been there.
So the qualifying happens on the phone and the drive happens on a guess. Your product is your time on site, and a visit to a two year old water stain is time you cannot resell.
Inspecta moves the questions to before the inquiry exists, with contact details last. That order is the whole mechanism, covered in qualifying a mold job before you pick up the phone.

Everything you would have asked, already answered.
The inspection and testing set, as a homeowner meets it. Follow-ups appear only when they apply.
The concern itself
Discoloration, a musty odor, recent water damage, an air quality worry or a previous problem.
Location
Bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, attic, HVAC, garage, basement, several areas or elsewhere.
Visible conditions
Whether growth is visible, whether there is an odor, and whether it has changed.
Approximate affected area
Under a square foot, one to ten, ten to fifty, more than fifty, or unsure.
Recent leaks and water events
Whether one happened, what it was, roughly when, and whether it was repaired.
Duration
Today, under a week, one to four weeks, one to six months, longer, or unsure.
Photos, notes and contact
Up to three optional photos, a free-text note, and their name, phone and email on submission.
Affected materials and room counts are not in this set, because an inspection inquiry does not need a removal scope. Those belong to the remediation widgets, which is worth running instead if you also quote the work.
From a website visit to an inspection inquiry.
Five steps, none of which require you to be at a desk when they happen.
- 1
A visitor arrives on a page you already own
Search, a directory, a referral, a paid ad. Inspecta does not bring them there; it changes what happens next.
- 2
They open the assessment instead of leaving
It offers to look at their problem rather than asking for a phone number, which is easier to say yes to.
- 3
They describe and photograph the problem
Guided questions first, contact form last. Someone who answered ten questions is a different prospect from a typed name.
- 4
They receive a careful preliminary assessment
A concern level, a plain-language explanation, the conditions worth attention, its own limits, and your next step.
- 5
The inquiry reaches you in full
Answers, photos, the assessment and contact details, in your dashboard, your inbox and any endpoint you configured.
One of three widget types, and the one that never prices anything.
Inspecta ships three assessment types. This one is for companies that sell the looking rather than the removal. It returns a concern level of low, moderate, elevated or high, and produces no estimate, so it cannot imply work you do not sell.
It runs under your logo, colors and contact details, on your own domain or on a hosted link you can text to somebody. The full capability list covers what the other two do differently.
Careful language is what keeps the line clear.
A preliminary website assessment and a professional inspection are different things, and the copy a homeowner reads has to make that obvious. Inspecta writes in hedged terms, names no species and never declares a property safe or unsafe.
That is enforced rather than requested: automated checks reject definitive diagnoses, species names, health claims and habitability verdicts before anyone sees the report. The assessment widget page sets out how those checks work.
Three places at once.
The inquiry lands in your lead dashboard with its answers, photos and assessment attached. Your office sets a status, adds notes, records the property address and appointment, and searches back by name, email or phone.
An email notification carries the contact details, the assessment level, the summary and links to the lead and the report. Its reply-to is the homeowner.
If your team works somewhere else, point Inspecta at your own endpoint. A signed event posts when the inquiry is captured and a second follows with the finished assessment. Both carry an HMAC-SHA256 signature, failed deliveries are retried, and there is a delivery history to resend from.
Which page did the work.
Where the browser provides it, Inspecta records the page the assessment started on and any campaign tags on that address. The source appears on the lead and travels in the webhook payload.

Inspecta and buying mold inspection leads are different products.
A distinction rather than a scoreboard. Plenty of companies do both.
The honest summary: Inspecta raises the completeness of the inquiries your traffic already produces. It does not produce traffic, and no software can promise an inquiry becomes a customer. What each plan includes is on the pricing page.

Questions from inspection and testing companies
- Does Inspecta perform the mold inspection?
- No. It is software on your website. It gathers what the homeowner can describe and photograph, then hands you a written preliminary assessment. The inspection stays yours.
- Can Inspecta tell a homeowner whether mold is present?
- No, and it is built not to. Automated checks reject definitive diagnoses, species names, health claims and habitability verdicts before anyone sees the text.
- Does it replace laboratory testing?
- No. Nothing is sampled, cultured or analyzed. An assessment is written from typed answers and photos by something that has never visited the property, and it says so first.
- What information arrives with the inquiry?
- Concern type, location, visible growth, an approximate area band, odor, any water event and whether it was repaired, duration, notes, up to three photos, and contact details.
- Can I use it on an existing website?
- Yes. The dashboard generates a one-line script tag with your widget ID, which works anywhere you can paste HTML. Every widget also has a branded hosted link.
- Can the assessment recommend booking an inspection?
- Yes. Every assessment closes on professional follow-up with a recommended next step and an urgency, then ends on the calls to action you configured.
- Does Inspecta sell mold inspection leads?
- No. It is software you run on your own site, not a marketplace. A submission belongs to the company whose widget captured it and goes nowhere else.
- Can I send the lead to another system?
- Through outbound webhooks. You point Inspecta at an endpoint you control and it posts signed JSON when the lead arrives and again when the assessment finishes.
